Wilson Security has been accused of intimidation and sexual harassment of women inmates at the camp for families and single women.

The Refugee Action Coalition said last week at least two official complaints had been made but another five or six women have also been subjected to the abusive searches since the rule change.

The company will not say whether complaints have been made, but says what it is doing is in line with its standard policy.

It says it does not conduct strip searches.
