Papua New Guinea's Electoral Commission has confirmed that Ijivitari MP David Arore has retained his seat in the recent by-election.
Mr Arore, who was the candidate for the ruling People's National Congress candidate, was ousted as the MP earlier this year when the National Court found his victory in the last general elections involved bribery.
He finished at the top with more than 9700 votes followed by John Warisan 8389 votes.
