The Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has slammed the National Parliamentary Opposition group for trying to rekindle political upheaval.
The Solomon Star reports Mr Sogavare has told Parliament opposition MPs are sending text messages to ministers offering large amounts of money in an effort to lure them to cross the floor
He told parliament it was time to act as mature national leaders and stop playing politics.
He says MPs need to work together to ensure goods and services are delivered to the country's people.
He said the Solomon islands could learn from Vanuatu which has seen 14 MPs jailed for corruption.
