Police in Guam have arrested another employee of the territory's tax office as part of a continuing corruption investigation that has so far seen four people arrested.
The Pacific Daily News reports that Linda Jean Pangelinan Palacios was arrested on allegations of theft of property held in trust, conspiracy, criminal facilitation and official misconduct.
She is accused of processing driver's licences without going through the legal processes or testing.
Another employee was arrested on similar charges on Wednesday, and two of the department's compliance inspectors were last week charged with accepting bribes from bar owners and conspiring to import cigarettes tax free.
The tax department this week asked the island's police chief for support in exploring the possibilities of corruption in the agency.
