The Queensland Reds have signed former St George Illawarra winger Eto Nabuli for the next two Super Rugby seasons.
Nabuli grew up playing rugby union in Fiji but has played rugby league in Australia for the last three years - first in the New South Wales Cup, and this year for the Dragons in the NRL.
He scored seven tries in 13 NRL games for the Dragons this season, including in Saturday's elimination final loss to the Bulldogs.
The 27 year old was first spotted by NRL legends Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler while working as a porter in a Fijian hotel almost four years ago.
Nabuli says his hometown of Sigatoka is known as a rugby town, so it's exciting to be heading back to the sport he grew up with.
