Joint commitment from Fiji's Sodelpa leaders

The leaders of Fiji's main opposition party, SODELPA, have issued a joint, signed, statement dismissing reports of dissension.

Two weeks ago MP Mosese Bulitavu said he and several other members had lost confidence in the party leader.

He had earlier threatened to resign over the use of government-allocated funding for the party.

But the Party Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa and the Party President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, say these claims were made to create division, but say it will not succeed.

Both leaders say they have reaffirmed their commitment and support for each other and have a joint resolve to take the party forward.
