Police in American Samoa have taken into custody a 21 year-old man from Leone in connection with the killing of a man whose body was found in Vailoa.

It's believed that the suspect knew the deceased.
Police have not released the identity of the victim who is from Samoa and was living and working with relatives in American Samoa.
His body was found in bushes near the intersection of Vailoa and Taputimu Friday morning.
American Samoa's Commissioner of Public Safety, Save Tuitele, says preliminary information indicates that the deceased and suspect had argued over a girl while they were in a car and the suspect stabbed the victim with a pocket knife in the vehicle he was driving.
The body was then dumped in bushes where it was discovered.
