Swiss yachtsman Laurent Bourgnon has been declared missing while diving off the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia.
Mr Bourgnon, a sailing great from the 1990s, was believed to be diving alone when he went missing near Toau Atoll on Wednesday.
His crew raised the alarm when he failed to return to his boat.
