Fiji's Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama says no project in the country will get the green light unless it passes the sustainability test and is in the interest of all Fijians.
He was launching a new plan to develop Fiji, known as the Green Growth Framework.

He says it will be at the core of national development plans for the next twenty years.
Mr Bainimarama says economic prosperity and environmental protection will go hand in hand under the plan.
He says as an example the Namosi gold and copper project near Suva is on hold because the government is not satisfied the environment protections are being met.
