Fiji's build-up to the Netball World Cup has been boosted with a test another test against the Silver Ferns.
The Pearls will take on New Zealand in Porirua on July the 23rd, two weeks before the start of the World Cup in Sydney.
It follows New Zealand's participation in the inaugural Oceania Series in Suva in January and will mark the first time Fiji has played a test in New Zealand since 1999.
Silver Ferns coach Wai Taumaunu admits that while Fiji and South Africa won't provide the same intensity as an England or Australia, it's still valuable preparation for all teams.
"There's not a lot of time and I'm delighted that we're able to help Fiji and get a work-out against South Africa".
The one-off test comes shortly after Fiji complete their commitments at the Pacific Games.
