Two more MPs in Papua New Guinea have been found guilty of misconduct in office by leadership tribunals.
The Minister for Tourism Arts & Culture Boka Kondra, who is North Fly MP, was found guilty on six allegations of misappropriation and constitutional breaches.
The Post Courier reports that the tribunal found that Mr Kondra misused North Fly's district support improvement program funds to pay for rentals of office, family accommodation and for settling personal debts.
Through double-dipping, the MP misused over 72-thousand US dollars.
While the tribunal is to convene in a month to consider a penalty, the chairman, Justice Salatiel Lenalia recommended Boka Kondra be criminally prosecuted.
In the second tribunal hearing, Manus Open MP Ronny Knight was found guilty of corruption, with the deputy Public Prosecutor Camillus Sambua urging the tribunal to dismiss the MP from Parliament.
