In order to obtain a licence to own or operate a casino, investors need to undergo a background investigation to determine if they have the integrity and business acumen to run a casino.

In the case of Bridge Investment Group, its major shareholders, Silvia Siu and Xianjun Meng have been found suitable investors for a casino license on Tinian by the Commission.

Bridge Investment Group says it plans on building a casino and hotel on Tinian that is a replica of the Titanic ocean liner that sank in the Atlantic Ocean in 1912.
