The Fiji Under 20 football team has made a losing start to their Asian tour, going down 1-0 to Myanmar in Mandalay.
Than Paing scored the only goal of the game for the home side in the 23rd minute, before a crowd of more than 20,000.
The two teams, who will contest the Under 20 Football World Cup for the first time in June, will meet again on Thursday after Fiji's original opponents, Uzbekistan, pulled out when they were drawn in the same group at the World Cup.
