1:40 pm on 10 October 2014

Israel Eliab has been named as captain for the Papua New Guinea team to take on the Australian Prime Minister's 13 in this Sunday's annual clash in Kokopo.

Eliab has been rewarded after leading the PNG Hunters in their debut season in the Queensland Cup, with the Hunters also providing the bulk of PNG's match-day squad.

Both starting line-ups have also been named, with Daniel Tupou and Anthony Milford, who starred for Tonga and Samoa at last year's World Cup, named on the wing and at stand-off for the Australian team, which will be captained by Greg Bird.

All 21 PNG players will be used during the match against the PM's team of 18, with unlimited substitutes throughout the match.
