Nominations for political candidates in Fiji have now closed, with all seven parties confirming their lists.

The Elections Supervisor, Mohammed Saneem, told Fiji media he had received nominations from seven political parties and his office will now proceed with verification to confirm whether the all nominations comply with the Electoral Decree.
The parties who have made their submissions so far are: the Social Democratic Liberal Party, Fiji Labour Party, National Federation Party, Fiji United Freedom Party, One Fiji Party, FijiFirst and the People's Democratic Party.
The two independent candidates are Roshika Deo and Umesh Chand.
Mr Saneem told Fiji Broadcasting Corporation anyone who wants to object will have to fill in a form and pay a fee to the elections office.
