The New Zealand foreign minister, Murray McCully, has announced that Tony Fautua will be New Zealand's next High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.
Mr Fautua was a special representative to Bougainville in Papua New Guinea and most recently Ambassador to Timor-Leste.
He will replace Marion Crawshaw.
