The Republic of Fiji Military Force's land force commander, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga, is to become the country's new military commander.
The current commander, Frank Bainimarama, will step down tomorrow to allow him to form a political party to contest this year's elections.
Commodore Bainimarama, who is also the Prime Minister, is to hand over the reins in a formal televised ceremony tomorrow.
