The Samoan government will donate about 30,000 US dollars to assist relief efforts in Tonga's northern islands of Ha'apai following Cyclone Ian.
A government statement says the donation is part of Samoa's ongoing good relationship with the Tongan people and its government.
Tonga has also assisted Samoa in the aftermath of Cyclone Evan in December 2012.
