The police in Ha'apai island group in Tonga which bore the brunt of cyclone Ian have raised concerns of looting.
The Ha'apai superintendent of police, inspector 'Okusitino Peleki told Television Tonga that people have been taking advantage of vacated homes and shops and stealing from them.
Mr Peleki says most of the items stolen have been alcohol and weapons.
He says some men have been arrested and will be taken to court.
