Freeport vehicles shot at in Indonesia

Reports from Papua say two vehicles operating at the mine of the copper and gold producer PT Freeport Indonesia were targeted in shootings on Sunday and Monday.

The Jakarta Post says no casualties were reported in the incidents.

Police say a water tanker was shot at by unidentified persons, adding that they found five bullet holes on the left door, tyre and radiator.

Unidentified people also fired shots at a vehicle driven by a chief of the Mimika Infantry Brigade.
