The Flying Fijians will be without a dozen front-line players for tomorrow morning's centenary clash against the famous Barbarians club in London.

With the IRB international window over, English Premiership clubs have refused to release players for the match at Twickenham.

Among those who will be absent is Fiji captain and Gloucester flanker Akapusi Qera, who tweeted that he was upset at the way Premiership Rugby has dealt with the issue.

Flying Fijians manager Joe Brown says the issue has caused a lot of disruption to their preparations.

""

We are put in a straightjacket because of the IRB requirements. We've managed to pull in other professionals so the weaknesses is not there - we have strength in all the areas - but we were used to several players and now we have to replace them at the last moment.

Joe Brown the new players have been brought in from clubs in divisions below the Premiership as well as some Fijians who are serving in the British Army.
