The Fiji coach Inoke Male is pleased with the progress his squad is making en route to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The Flying Fijians begin their European tour against Portugal in Lisbon this Sunday, before further tests against Italy and Romania.
Fiji's last international outing was a victory over Tonga in June to secure their first Pacific Nations Cup title.
Inoke Male says he's pleased with the development the team has shown over the past 12 months.
"At the moment we are going on the right track because we are getting in lots of the old players and lots of the experienced players involved with this PNC and now the Europe tour. I'm more satisfied with the attitudes given by the boys so come next year we'll be able to fill in a better team so the boys gel together and by the qualifying round Fiji will be fielding a better and most improved team."
Also this weekend Manu Samoa begin their Northern tour against Ireland in Dublin and Tonga take on Romania in Bucharest.
