Former Manu Samoa skipper, Papaliitele Peter Fatialofa, better known as Peter Fats, has died.
Local radio station, Talofa FM, reports that people found Papaliitele in his car in front of a local market at Fugalei after 7 this morning.
Some witnesses told the station they saw him drive his car into the market but he parked the vehicle and sat inside for minutes which have prompted some people to check if he was ok.
Our correspondent says an ambulance took Papaliitele to the national hospital where he was pronounced dead.
