The Fiji Ports Group is expected to pay out a performance bonus of over 246-thousand US dollars to all 490 employees for the 2012 financial year.

This is after the Fiji Ports Group recorded a net profit after tax of 4.0 millions US dollars in 2012, a 30 per cent increase over 2011 results, and made a record dividend payout to the Government of over 2.0 million US dollars.

Fiji Village online says bonuses will be paid to the employees for the three companies, including both the established salaried staff and the registered relief workers.

Fiji Ports Corporation Limited Chairman, Tevita Kuruvakadua, thanked the directors, management and employees for their tireless efforts in achieving this performance.
