Pacific sides are getting closer to finalising their squads for the Rugby League World Cup, which kicks off next month in the UK.
Tonga have announced a 30-man train-on squad featuring six players each from the Parramatta Eels and New Zealand Warriors, including former Australia and Queensland representative Willie Tonga and blockbusting centre Konrad Hurrell.
Four players from the UK Super League have also been named, while Sydney Havea and Daniel Kilioni were included from the Tongan domestic competition.
More players will be added as teams are eliminated from their respective finals series, although Manly's Brent Kite has already been confirmed as captain.
Papua New Guinea have named a 27-strong squad for this Sunday's Prime Minister's XIII match in Kokopo and the World Cup.
A handful of NRL regulars have been included, such as Penrith hooker James Segeyaro, Gold Coast Titans flyer David Mead and Newcastle Knights second rower Neville Costigan, with local players providing the bulk of the squad.
And Samoa have named a Residents team to take on the Australian Affiliated States in a two match series beginning this weekend.
There are five resident places up for grabs in the Toa Samoa World Cup squad.
