The President of the Fiji Trades Union Congress and a Sri Lanka businessman have appeared in a Fiji court accused of urging political violence.
Daniel Urai is charged with urging political violence against the government, while Jagath Karunaratne is alleged to be part of a group behind anti-government graffiti that was found in Suva last year.
Fiji Village reports the men's lawyers have filed afidavits to the office of Public Prosecutions to consolidate the charges.
The judge has adjourned the case until next Wednesday in order to hear the State's position on the consolidation of charges for the two accused.
