Former Fiji Green party leader uncertain about political future

The former Fiji politician, Bernadette Rounds Ganilau, is still considering whether to apply to register a party for the 2014 election.

She told Fiji Live she is monitoring the big parties and has not decided on making an application to form a party.

She has confirmed that she will not be joining any proposed political parties soon.

Her Green Party of Fiji was dissolved after the regime introduced the new Political Parties' Decree in January.

Ms Rounds-Ganilau was a minister in the post-coup interim government but lost her job in a re-shuffle five years ago.

She then formed the Green Party.
