Vanuatu's Minister for Education Mr Bob Loughman has signed an agreement with a local firm to supply building materials for four new classrooms to be built in Aniwa, Maewo, Ambae and Gaua.

The Japanese Government is funding the classrooms through its aid agency, JICA.

It is providing 270 thousand US dollars for the buildings.

Mr Loughman has asked local communities to provide free sand and coral as their contributions to the project.
