Sport: Brian Lima expecting tough Welsh challenge

10:24 am on 17 November 2012

Samoa rugby legend Brian Lima is expecting a desperate Wales team to throw everything it has at the Manu in this morning's blockbuster clash in Cardiff.

Wales have won the last three encounters between the two sides, including at the Rugby World Cup last year.

But Samoa won the previous three, including famous victories in Cardiff at the 1991 and 1999 World Cups.

Brian Lima was involved in all three of those triumphs and says it's a special rivalry.

"I think it started from 91 when Samoa beat Wales and then something everytime we play Wales we always want to beat them. The boys they know their history and they really want to play against Wales - they want to play physical. They know it's going to be really hard because of the Wales loss to Argentina last week but I'm sure the boys are looking forward to this game."
