A delegation from the Solomon Islands Government's Price Control Division has been in Fiji for discussions on consumer protection with Fiji's Ministry of Industry and Trade.

It spent two days with the Commerce Commission to study Fiji's pricing template, inspection processes, and competition law.

The delegation says the Solomons' consumer laws need to follow Fiji's example and cover all aspects of consumer protection, competition and pricing.
