Fiji's interim Prime Minister, Comodore Frank Bainimarama, says he wants to develop cattle farming in Fiji, using expertise from Vanuatu.

On a visit to Bellevue Cattle Farm on Vanuatu's main island of Efate, Mr Bainmarama, said he was interested in having the owner, David Russet, visit Fiji and help expand cattle farming there.

He says he would like Fiji to match the quality of Vanuatu beef and also reduce beef imports from New Zealand by developing domestic production.
