Nauru is the latest country to help Fiji after the recent serious flooding on Viti Levu.

Nauru's High Commissioner to Fiji Jarden Kephas has given a cheque for just over 20,000 US dollars to Fiji's interim prime minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama to assist with relief efforts.

Mr Kephas says the donation was done in genuine Nauruan and Pacific culture which reflects the spirit of Pacific solidarity to assist one another in times of difficulty.
