Northern Marianas lawmaker, Raymond Palacios, has been arrested again, this time for not appearing at a hearing last week involving a civil case that began 11 years ago.
Mr Palacios was arrested last October on drugs charges and is on bail.
In the latest incident he was due in court on December the 22nd for a hearing on the civil case but has since told the court he got the dates wrong.
The lawmaker said he also had a very hectic schedule, including attending a wedding and two funerals.
