Solomons police force pledges to boost coverage of Isuna

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force has pledged to boost services to Isuna and surrounding communities on the Weathercoast following the closure of the Regional Assistance Mission's Participating Police Force post there last week.

The deputy commissioner, Edmund Sikua, says the RSIPF has a plan for the policing of South Guadalcanal.

He says while this won't include operating a post out of Isuna, the community should expect to see officers on regular monthly patrols through the area.
