Samoa centre Eliota Fuimaono Sapolu's apology for comparing the scheduling of his team's rugby World Cup matches to the holocaust has saved him from disciplinary action by tournament organisers.
Samoa was beaten 17-10 by Wales on Sunday in their second game in four days after Wales had enjoyed a week off.
Afterwards, Fuimaono Sapolu commented on social network site Twitter that Samoa's treatment by the International Rugby Board was like slavery, the holocaust and apartheid.
The team manager, Tuala Mathew Vaea, says they have discussed the context of the comments, with the Rugby World Cup, and the matter is now closed.
He says they have reminded the players they are ambassadors for rugby, their country Samoa, and the tournament.
The IRB says it's satisfied with the player's apology and says its scheduling is largely because of TV demands for weekend matches featuring the major countries.
