The Water Authority of Fiji has fixed a flaw in a major pipeline which has caused years of intermittent and disruptive water supply to villages in Tailevu Province.

Engineers from the Water Authority have reconfigured the main pipeline at the Raralevu Reservoir after identifying a design problem in the system.

Work on the repair project began last year to end years of disruptions to water supply in a number of villages in the Bau District of Tailevu Province.
