The Cook Islands finished the Touch Rugby World Cup on a winning note after beating Scotland 11-7 in the fifth-place playoff match in Edinburgh yesterday.
It was their second win over the hosts, after also beating them in pool play.
Australia won the Cup final 7-6 after upsetting the previously unbeaten New Zealand.
Niue finished eighth in the mixed open grade.
