The owner of Tonga's third TV station and the publisher of the newspaper, Taimi o Tonga, says censorship is causing difficulties but he's not giving up.
Kalafi Moala's Taimi Media Network is switching to the privately-owned Digicel Tonga after being taken off air by the government-run Tonga Broadcasting Corporation.
Mr Moala says he hopes to resolve the dispute but has made arrangements to start broadcasting next week on DigiTV.
He doesn't dispute that two months' lease is owed but says the service was poor and heavy censoring was costing him money.
"It's just very difficult to operate a media operation under censorship. Because they are a government station and we are using their station for broadcasting our programmes, I guess they have the right to do the censoring but from a media standpoint, it's just ridiculous, you can't operate like that."
Kalafi Moala also says he is still trying to turn the Taimi o Tonga newspaper into a daily.
He says the paper is being produced three times a week but printing problems has prevented it from hitting the streets daily.
