Survey of Pacific economies launched

A survey will be launched in Sydney today outlining a comprehensive economic analysis of more than 40 economies in Asia and the Pacific.

The Asia Development Outlook 2010 is a series of annual economic reports on the developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank.

Fijilive reports it'll explore how authorities in developing countries can manage their macroeconomic policies in the aftermath of the global financial crisis.

ADB's spokesperson, Sally Shute-Trembath. says it examines the medium-term prospects for Asia and the Pacific.

She says it'll touch on issues such as monetary policy, exchange rates, and fiscal sustainability.
