The police in Solomon Islands say the country has emerged well from this week's earthquakes and tsunamis with no serious injuries or deaths.
A disaster asessment team has visited the island of Rendova, which was first damaged by Monday's 7.2 magnitude quake.
The police commissioner Peter Marshall says a comprehensive picture of the aftermath has now emerged.
"I think overall the Solomon Islands got away with the situation comparatively lightly, bearing in mind that there were well over fifteen after-shocks in that type of situation."
Peter Marshall says it won't take long to repair damage to buildings and they are confident no-one is in a distressed condition as supplies are getting to villages.
