Major supermarkets in Suva, Fiji, reopened on Tuesday but limited transportation has affected sales.
Food 4 Less Supermarket Suva branch manager, Kamal Deo, said sales were not good even though the weather had improved after Cyclone Mick caused major flooding and extensive damage in Fiji on Monday.
He told the Fiji Times Online that very few people have come in to shop as transport is a problem and only a few bus companies are operating.
He says people aren't doing bulk shopping but are choosing to buy basic food items and essential emergency supplies.
