Papua New Guinea's Eastern Highlands Province's education examination supervisor is calling for more high school building to cater for more than 1,000 students that'll otherwise be forced out.
5,000 children have enrolled to attend class nine next year, but Felix Dennis says there's only class room space for 3,000 pupils in the province.
Mr Dennis says it's a real problem, which may also apply to students wanting to enrol in the more senior high school grades.
"I'm not blaming the government. But because we don't have space, there's a need, there's a need, we should have extra high schools."
Felix Dennis says the province currently has enough primary and elementary school facilities.
