Two more people in New Caledonia have died of swine flu after the first fatality was reported this week.
The health authorities say the latest victims are a 58-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man.
The first person to die of an H1N1 infection in the territory was an eight-year-old girl.
The authorities say the flu outbreak may potentially affect 20,000 people.
