Friends and relatives of those missing in Tonga's ferry disaster are calling for the government to be accountable.

The Princess Ashika, with what is now thought to have been 149 people on board, sank on Wednesday; 93 people remain unaccounted for.

Only two bodies have been recovered.

Dozens of people are staying on the grounds of the Shipping Corporation of Polynesia waiting for information from the Navy, which is based nearby.

Sia Amanaki Puna is one of them and she says the sinking is a huge problem for the country and the government should do more.

Others at the makeshift camp say the Minister of Transport should resign.
