The targets of possible strike action are the fuel distribution companies as well as Air France and the golf course at Atimaono.
Press reports say a tanker is due in Papeete and there is concern that the labour dispute could delay its offloading.
At Air France, plans are said to be afoot to no longer roll over some contracts of local staff but to use employees who come from Paris.
