A woman from the United States has been released from a French Polynesian hospital where she had been kept in isolation amid fears of her spreading the H1N1 flu.
The health ministry in Papeete says she was given Tamiflu and has now been cleared to join her husband for their planned stay on Moorea.
On arrival in Tahiti last week, she was detected to have a temperature and was immediately admitted to the main hospital in Papeete.
Tahitipresse says according to the authorities there is now no suspected swineflu case in the territory.
Last month, five local students were quarantined for five days after returning from California amid contamination fears but they returned negative tests.
