The decline in the number of tourist arrivals in French Polynesia has continued, with the April figures showing a 30 percent drop over the same month in 2008.
This year's April figure is just over 11,000 visitors.
A drop was registered across all sectors of the industry, with the number of cruise ship travellers now having more than halved in the first four months of the year.
The gradual decline of the tourist numbers is now into its second year.
