In Samoa, local media reports say the body of a man was found in the boot of a taxi over the weekend.
The paper, the Samoa Observer, reports the victim had stab wounds in the chest and his mouth had been covered with tape.
A security officer near where the taxi was discovered called police on Saturday night
The security officer was apparently worried because the taxi had been parked there for a while.
When officers inspected the cab there was no driver.
They then broke into the boot and discovered the body which is suspected to be the driver.
The police were trying to establish the identity of the deceased and the stand to which the abandoned taxi belongs.
