Fiji police have asked to look through the computer files of a local lawyer, Richard Naidu.
Mr Naidu is complying with the instruction and is at the Suva police station.
He says at this stage he has not been taken into custody.
Under emergency rule, the military and police can hold anybody suspected to being a threat to public security.
