The Cook Islands Deputy Prime Minister, Sir Terepa'i Maoate, says he is pleased with the outcomes of meetings with pearl farmers and their support for increasing pearl production.
Sir Terepa'i has been holding meetings with pearl farmers and his delegation in Manihiki over the past three days.
During the meetings the Pearl Authority presented a project proposal to expand pearl production from Manihiki, Rakahanga and Tongareva over the next three years.
